5 Natural Remedies for Anxiety

2020: a year filled with cultural divides, a pandemic, more hurricanes than I can count and now the most widely contested presidential election in American history!

Anyone else want to hide in bed until this all blows over?

Yup, so do I.

As fun as it sounds to hide away, we can't.  That's not why I'm here, showing up on this blog every week.

My goal is to help you reach your goals.  Even when it's really, really hard.

It's impossible to escape the stress, drama and absolute chaos happening all around us right now.  A third of Americans now show signs of clinical anxiety.  We are really feeling it.  But there are things you can do to manage your life so anxiety doesn't totally consume you.

I am all for doing deep, healing work to find the root cause of anxiety but sometimes we just need quick strategies to help wrangle those anxious feelings so we can function and get back to life.

Ashwaganda
This ancient herb is scientifically proven to help reduce cortisol levels (your stress hormone). In a recent study, 64 people with chronic stress saw a 69% reduction in anxiety and insomnia when taking ashwaganda.

Vitamin C
This powerful antioxidant can help nourish your adrenal glands (the organs that produce cortisol, your stress hormone).  This is especially important because chronic stress can make your adrenals go haywire, causing them to produce too much cortisol which makes anxiety much worse.

Gratitude
Instead of focusing on what's wrong in the world, focus on what's going right.  Shifting your perspective can make a huge impact on your mood.

Exercise
Exercise releases endorphins which floods your brain with "good mood" chemicals.   It's also a great outlet for any pent up anger and aggression that we sometimes just need to sweat out.

Magnesium
Research shows that low magnesium leads to anxiety symptoms.  Getting enough of this key mineral helps promote sleep and brings a sense of calm.  It's also helps support a healthy brain, mood, energy and balanced hormones.  We use magnesium chloride in all of our creams because it's easily absorbed and works within minutes.

>>>You'll find Ashwaganda, Magnesium and more in our Tranquility Cream.  We call it "instant calm in a jar" because it helps promote a state of calm, relaxation and better rest.
